Kingdom Season 1 – Storyline/Plot:

Set in Korea’s Joseon period, a couple of years after the japanese invasions of Korea (1592-1598). It tells the story of prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji-hoon), who becomes embroiled during a coup/political conspiracy and is forced to embark upon a mission to research the spread of a mysterious undead plague that has beset the present emperor and therefore the country’s southern provinces. 

The story starts with a notice on an ad , claiming the king of Joseon is dead and therefore the prince should be crowned immediately because the new king. However, inside the palace, the king is understood to be severely sick and has been secretly treated for the past 10 days.

Nobody was allowed to go to the king, not even the prince himself. Late in the dark , the prince sneaks bent visit his father, eager to know the reality . But rather than his father, he encountered the silhouette of a beastly monster. 

Amid the physician Seo-Bi (Bae Doo-na), the enigmatic Yeong-Shin (Kim Sung-kyu), and his personal guard Moo-Young (Kim Sang-ho), Prince Lee-Chang must prevent the advance of the plague towards his home capital of Hanyang (present-day Seoul) while addressing the sinister coup masterminded by Minister Cho Hak-ju (Ryu Seung-ryong) and his family aimed towards his deposition from the throne.

KINGDOM The second season of Netflix’s thriller zombie series “Kingdom” has released its first character stills.

“Kingdom” may be a mystery thriller and a zombie sageuk that takes place within the Joseon era. The story will follow the growing greed of the Jo family and prince Lee Chang (Joo Ji Hoon), who finds himself unable to trust anyone.

The new stills show the strain that has fallen on the Joseon era thanks to a zombie outbreak. prince Lee Chang doesn’t sleep and continues the endless fight to stay his people safe, while prime minister Jo Hak Joo (Ryu Seung Ryong) tries to chase Lee Chang out of the palace walls and take hold of the fate of the country together with his growing greed. health professional Seo Bi (Bae Doona) is undeterred by the adversities she faces and works hard to uncover secrets that surround them.
